TransEuropa Ferries - Ramsgate to Ostend ferry crossings
Trans Europe Ferries operates Ramsgate
to Ostend ferries. They use two ships, the Oleander and the Ostend Spirit.
Between them these vessels operate 4 return crossings daily. The crossing time
is 4 hours. Check in is at least 45 minutes before departure. Animals are not
accepted on this ferry crossing.

Ramsgate is on the far eastern tip of Kent, and can be reached via the
M2/A299. Allow about 1 and a quarter hours from the M25/M2 junction.
Ostend is on the Belgian coast just a short drive from Bruges (Brugge)
and about an hour and a quarter from Brussels. From here motorways
spread out to give good access to the rest of Belgium, the Netherlands
and throughout Europe.

Facilities on the Oleander:
The Silverstone bar has 110 comfortable seats and features a photo display of the winners of the
F1. A great place to enjoy some of Belgium's famous beers, as well as a fine
selection of other drinks and snacks.
There also the Coffee Call coffee bar, the self-service Marco Polo Diner,
within which is the Bistro area serving a variety of tasty dishes.
The Oleander has 2 x 4-bed cabins where you can grab some sleep on night
crossings or just relax during the day. The sea view cabins all have 4 beds,
bathroom equipped with toilet, shower & sink.
Facilities on the Ostend Spirit:
On board you’ll find restaurants, cafeterias and a pub. Try the simple but tasty
pleasures of the self-service restaurant, or delicious hot and cold drinks in
the Coffee Lounge. Enjoy a beer in the Dirty Duck pub or for something more
refined there's the Cotton Club lounge.
There is plenty of comfortable seating in the three exclusive lounges. The ship
offers a children's play area, internet access, and on-board shopping.
The Ostend Spirit has 80 highly comfortable cabins, all with air conditioning.
59 are en suite cabins; 8 singles cabins, 9 four berth and 42 two berth. All the
2 berth cabins are inside while the others are outside with windows. In addition
there are 20 newly built four berth cabins close to nearby toilets and showers
and 1 en suite disabled cabin with one bed and two berths.
