There are two crossings daily between Harwich and the Hook of Holland
 so
you can choose between day and overnight sailings. And when you take your car, you

In May 2010 Stena Line launched the superferry Stena Hollandica. This luxurious
ship is the largest ferry of its type in the world. In October 2010 the Hollandica
will be joined by the Stena Britannica which means that the ferry crossings from
Harwich to the Hook will be operated by the most modern ferries in the world.
The Stena Hollandica operates the overnight sailing from Harwich
to the Hook of Holland, departing at 23.45 and arriving just before 8 am.
The 538 cabins are fitted with Dux beds, the Swedish luxury brand beds also
found in the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai,
and modern en suite bathrooms with Hansgrohe fittings. Pre-book your
evening meal and breakfast and you receive a reduced rate.
There's plenty of fun and entertainment for all ages including a kids
corner and an onboard cinema. And make sure you leave time for some shopping,
as you'll find many items on sale at around 50% of the high street price.

The return night time sailing from the Hook departs at 22.00. All crossings can
be boarded up to 3 hours before sailing, enabling
 passengers
to enjoy a meal on board before sailing.
The daytime ferries depart Harwich at 09.00 and from the Hook of Holland at 14.30
for the 6 and a half hour crossing. Of course you can enjoy the same facilities
as the overnight ferry - restaurants, bars, cinema, shops and the Stena Plus lounge
upgrade.
The port of Harwich is 84 easy miles from London via the A12. The A14 dual carriageway
links the port to the M1, the M11 and Eastern England, and this is the only crossing
from East Anglia to the Netherlands. Within a few kilometres of arrival in Holland
you join the motorway network to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the rest of Europe.
Rotterdam is only half an hour away from Hook of Holland by car, while Amsterdam
is only an hour and twenty minutes drive. So whether visiting Holland's art
galleries and historic museums, or driving through its idyllic countryside, this
Stena Line crossing has to be the easiest and most cost-effective way to take your
car to Holland.
